SEN Teacher required for a school in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire
Your new role
Children in SEN schools are still required to go into school if they aren’t self-isolating and therefore the need for supply is still high.
To be able to work with SEN children in a specialist SEN school you must have experience, QTS (or NQT) Team Teach is desirable but not essential, you must have an understanding of the varying needs or specialise in one. This could be ASD, EBD Speech and Language, ADHD, Behavioural, Cerebral Palsy etc.
When the schools are allowed to go back as normal, the need will increase and you’ll either be required to work on day to say supply or even to work at a school in a long term role which is generally 4 weeks or longer.
If you hold QTS and have previous experience of working in an SEN school or SEN provision attached to a mainstream school then I would love to hear from you!
